This study summarises the traces of Jokowi fiscal policy from 2015-2023. The legacy of Jokowi’s fiscal policy ranges from debt burden, low tax ratio, and inefficient government expenditure including infrastructure projects. We formulate a new strategy to escape the fiscal trap before its too late.
