CELIOS, in collaboration with the Australian Embassy, recently conducted the CELIOS School for Diplomats on 1, 8, and 16 September 2026. The programme was designed to provide diplomats with a deeper understanding of Indonesia’s political, economic, legal, and foreign policy landscape, supporting their engagement and work in Indonesia.
Through expert-led sessions, the programme explored Indonesia’s political system and governance, economic landscape and priority sectors, legal and regulatory framework, foreign policy and international relations, as well as current and emerging issues including the green transition, digital governance, and social transformation. The sessions brought together CELIOS experts and practitioners to provide participants with practical and contextual insights into Indonesia’s evolving policy environment.
The CELIOS School for Diplomats is part of CELIOS’ commitment to strengthening dialogue and knowledge exchange between Indonesian policy communities and international partners. The programme is designed as a platform for diplomats and international representatives to engage directly with Indonesian experts and develop a more comprehensive understanding of the country’s domestic and regional dynamics.
