- Defense Minister discusses joint training plan between TNI and Chinese military: On Friday, January 10, 2024, in a meeting that took place between Sjafrie and the Chief of Staff of the Joint Armed Forces of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) General Liu Zhenli at the Ministry of Defense office, Central Jakarta, China and Indonesia discussed plans for military cooperation by holding joint exercises between the TNI and the Chinese military or the People’s Republic of China (RTT).
